MARTIN BROWER
A Modern Office That Brings People Together
At Clearspace, we build offices that everyone loves! So, when Martin Brower, a leader in supply solutions with over 13,500 employees worldwide, needed a beautiful and flexible space to welcome their team back to the office, we embraced their vision and set out to make it a reality.

REQUIREMENTS
BRINGING PEOPLE BACK
The top priority for Martin Brower was getting people back to the office and attracting new talent, so they needed a place where teamwork and collaboration could thrive.
CHOICE OF WORK
Martin Brower wanted to give employees different spaces for different tasks, whether it’s focused work or team collaboration, making sure everyone can work in a way that suits them best.
FLEXIBILITY FOR GROWTH
Flexibility was also key, but the biggest challenge was designing a space that could grow and adapt without compromising capital budget.
A beautiful, modern office that brings people together through thoughtfully designed spaces, with the flexibility to adapt and grow as their needs evolve.
SOLUTION
We created a warm and inviting environment that combines corporate functionality with hospitality elements. The design blends warm lighting, natural materials, and wooden finishes to create a homey, comforting atmosphere.
BRINGING PEOPLE BACK
A WARM WELCOME
The reception area is the introduction to an open, welcoming office infused with a strong sense of identity. We opened the ceilings to flood the space with natural light, creating an eye-catching feature that sets the tone for the entire workspace.
A CAFÉ WITH A VIEW
BRINGING PEOPLE BACK
The extra-large café, with expansive windows offering stunning city views and open ceilings that extend from the reception, is more than just a place to grab coffee—it’s a vibrant, space to socialize and connect.
The café has become a key element in fostering a strong community, giving employees another reason to come together and collaborate.
BRINGING PEOPLE BACK
A SOCIAL HUB
Next to the café, the sports lounge with a ping-pong table encourages balance and well-being. It’s a spot where people genuinely enjoy spending time, whether unwinding or engaging in friendly ping-pong matches during lunch breaks.
The social hub adds a playful touch to the workday and makes the office a place where people are excited to come every day.
BRINGING PEOPLE BACK
BRAND IDENTITY
To deeply embed Martin Brower’s identity into the space, we collaborated closely with Julie Dell'Aniello, President of Martin Brower Canada. Her insights were key in shaping architectural elements that reflect their core values.
The acoustic panels, designed in their brand colours, improve sound quality while also serving as subtle wall graphics, making the office uniquely theirs and reinforcing their identity throughout the space.
CHOICE OF WORK
COZY CORNERS
We added cozy, casual and functional booths, strategically placed in high-traffic areas. Designed with bold blue colours and archway elements that reflect the company’s identity, these booths provide versatile options for focused work or impromptu meetings.
They give employees the flexibility to choose their ideal working environment while reinforcing the brand’s visual throughout the office.
CHOICE OF WORK
COLLABORATION ZONES
From cozy booths for focused tasks to casual seating areas for collaboration, every corner of this office is designed with different work styles in mind, offering employees the freedom to choose where they work best.
Whether they need a quiet spot to concentrate or a space to connect with colleagues, this layout accommodates every need, creating a dynamic and engaging work environment that fosters both productivity and creativity.
FLEXIBILITY FOR GROWTH
Beyond the design, we wanted Martin Brower to have a space that could easily adapt to future growth while staying within a strict capital budget. We created areas that allow for quick reconfiguration without sacrificing quality.
The layout accommodates higher or lower density with a modular benching system by our furniture partner Apricot, that enabled desks to be adjusted or added as the team expands, addressing one of the most expensive challenges in office reconfiguration.
We also incorporated communal seating and multifunctional spaces for meetings or focused work, which is especially important as companies adjust to new in-office expectations. All team zones and breakout areas can be easily reconfigured, and new workstations can be added as needed.
