MEET RYAN WANG
Meet Ryan Wang, our Senior Estimator at Clearspace.
Ryan’s journey to becoming a key part of our team is rooted in hands-on experience and a passion for problem-solving. Starting his career in banking, Ryan quickly realized that the environment didn’t align with his dynamic personality. Seeking a more creative and tangible line of work, he co-founded a renovation business with a friend, specializing in luxury kitchens and bathrooms. Over five years, Ryan mastered the trades, from framing and carpentry to concrete work and tiling, building high-end spaces like new cottages in Collingwood.
When his partnership came to an end, Ryan pivoted to construction estimation and brought his wealth of experience to Clearspace, playing a critical role in building some of our early projects. In 2020, he took over the estimating function and managed it single-handedly for three years. During the summer of 2023, he was completing around 20 estimates a week—a testament to his dedication and work ethic. Now, Ryan leads a team of three, expanding our capabilities to estimate more complex projects with greater accuracy and speed.
Ryan’s mission is to help our clients understand the details and budgets of their construction projects, no matter how complex, while ensuring transparency and trust throughout the process.

Beyond his professional expertise, Ryan’s personality shines through in his tenacity and love for learning. He thrives on challenges and approaches every project as an opportunity to grow. Outside of work, Ryan is passionate about food—especially sweets—and balances his indulgences with a rigorous fitness routine that includes cycling, running, lifting, and kickboxing. He discovered a love for cycling during the pandemic and now averages 200 km a week in the summer. Ryan is preparing for his first triathlon next year and enjoys spending time outdoors, camping, and planning future bike tours across Asia and Europe.
Dogs, donuts, coffee (an admitted addiction), and the colour orange are some of Ryan’s favourite things, and his energetic approach to life brings a unique and inspiring dynamic to the Clearspace team. His expertise and leadership continue to drive our success, ensuring that every project is delivered with precision and passion.
